Summer Tournament 2009

Our Club Secretary and Treasurer, Alan and Linda Streather would like to thank everyone who helped over the weekend to make the tournament a great success, all the Managers, Wives, Daughters, Sons and numerous other volunteers.

We never thought it would be possible to hold such a great event. As a club we have done many things over the years but nothing compares to this.

Everyone agrees it was a lot of hard work and stress to get it up and running but it was all worth it. Thank God the weather was with us.

We have had a lot of positive feedback especially on the organisation of the event. We would like to give a special thank you to Rob Coleman for believing.

It was especially heart warming to see the club members working together as a team for one purpose. We can all take pride in the knowledge that when something needs doing we sure do it well.

Thank you all........

Race Night

The recent race night raised over £700 pounds!

The club would like to thank Rob Coleman and Nigel for making this night possible and a big thankyou to those that attended.

A fun evening was had by all, with some people asking "when will the next one be?". Watch this space!!!

The money raised has been put towards a new 'ride on' lawnmower. Which will hopefully put an end to the long grass issue we've all

experienced and help to keep the new clubhouse well tendered and looking as professional as this club is run.

A big thank-you to you all!!!
